Inside Sales Representative

Consider joining the growing team at DataPivot Technologies, an award-winning Data Center and Cloud Technologies solutions provider with a focus on data protection and security, with headquarters just north of Boston.  DataPivot is now in search of an Inside Sales/Business Development Represent.  This is a dynamic role combining Inside Sales Support and Administration teaming with a team of Account Executives as well as Outbound Business Development.  

Inside Sales/Business Development Representative Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads by phone and email.

  • Within lead generation, responsible for lead identification and qualification.

  • Probing to understand customers' requirements, identifying sales opportunities, and securing sales meetings (In Person and Video Conference).

  • Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information per email.

  • Assisting with the quotation process, technology solution design and preparing sales order packages.

  • Assisting marketing and sales with driving attendance to events.

  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.

  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.

  • Explaining and potentially demonstrating capabilities of products and services.

  • Staying informed about competing products and services.

 

Inside Sales Representative Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or similar degree required.

  • Excellent communications skills—verbal, written, and presentation.

  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position is a plus.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

  • Proven phone and cold calling skills

  • Strong listening and sales skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and CRM software such as Salesforce.com and SalesLoft.

  • Familiar with top Social Engagement Platforms for Business such as LinkedIn 

  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and achieve targets.

Must be able to commute daily to North Andover, MA.
